Folacoat^® and Folacomp^® – the Folex system solution for maximum efficiency, quality and sustainability in the coating plant

Our system solution, which is unique on the market and proven in practice, enables maximum efficiency and sustainability in your coating and printing processes. The perfectly harmonised combination of Folacoat^® coating plates and Folacomp^® compressible underpacking materials ensures excellent printing results and high cost-effectiveness.

Sustainability and resource conservation are an integral part of the system solution: While Folacoat^® coating plates are characterised by extreme durability and good reusability, Folacomp^® underpacking materials increase the service life of the coating plates and protects the machine and roller bearings.

The new Folacoat^® Pure coating plate adds a particularly environmentally conscious option to our system solution and sets new standards in terms of sustainability. It is based on a polymer with 30% renewable raw material content and has a polyester carrier with 50% recycled content.

Folex Rotocalco Grinding Stones for cylinder preparation

To ensure the efficient preparation of gravure printing cylinders, it is indispensable to use suitable abrasive material. Folex Rotocalco grinding and polishing stones have been developed to achieve uniform roughness on different metal surfaces with a moderate expenditure of time and little stone abrasion.

Folex has been manufacturing grinding/polishing stones specially made for finishing copper, chromium and steel for more than 25 years.

The range of Folex products for the prepress sector encompasses montage films for offset printing and masking films for classical screen printing.

In the postpress sector, we offer self-adhesive tapes in numerous attractive colours for spine binding.

Folex Screen Transfer Films are matt, thermal stabilized films to transfer screen printed images onto textiles or other surfaces. The fine and homogeneous roughness leads to final transferred print surfaces with an attractive matt finish and a comfortable touch.
